Fancy biz organized in part by my friends at Mutant, fellow purveyors of physical biz.
The image itself comes from a current snap of an original Leatherface mask in its crushed brittle condition at Austin’s Ransom Center.
Time and haphazard care imbued a lovely aesthetic to art director Robert A. Burns experiments in nightmare crafting.
Contrasted out, however, it evoked to me an anxious egg waiting to hatch.
