In 1998, Mark Arminski faced lawsuits from the Dave Matthews Band and Phish over a few posters the bands claimed were unauthorized, with each suing for $50,000. While Mark didn’t earn much from the posters—primarily those for Phish—over the years, Artrock, a co-defendant in the suit, covered their own legal fees and organized a benefit to assist Mark with his. This is the poster Mark designed to promote the event, which showcased various posters donated by other artists as well as works from Artrock’s Phil Cushway.
