"As far as a story goes, the job was handled through an agent named Tracy Strand. The deadlines were reasonable. I was paid well. I never met the Dead although she told me they really liked the poster. The Dead gave me eight tickets over two nights to see them in concert and it was a life changing event for me. I thought the flower child days were long gone until they hit the stage and started playing. It was like being transported back to the sixties, and with lots of young kids getting into it. I finally understood what Jerry Garcia was about. Live, they were incredible." - BJ
